If you experience racing thoughts during meditation, don’t panic!
That’s normal and it takes practice to be able to slow down our thoughts. If you experience racing thoughts while meditating, simply let the thoughts pass until your mind is empty. Don’t focus on trying to create an “empty mind” as this can produce frustration. Just allow your mind to wander, let those thoughts pass, and return to focusing on your breathing when you’re able to.
Practicing guided meditations is a great way to keep your mind from racing while meditating, because your focus is on the guide.
